Private Strategy Session
One business problem, examined in depth, with a custom written strategy to follow.
Most of the founders I work with aren't short on ideas, effort, or advice.
What they're missing is a second, rigorous perspective on one specific question about their business.
→ Which of several good options to pursue first.
→ Why growth has stalled when nothing looks broken.
→ How to get from where the business is to where they can already see it going.
Those questions are hard to answer from inside the business.
The session centers on a single conversation, but the conversation is only one part of the work.
Before we talk, I review your questionnaire and the materials you share: your offers, your pages, your numbers, whatever bears on the question.
After we talk, I take the conversation and everything I reviewed and build it into a written strategy document for your business.
It comes with a recorded walkthrough of my reasoning and, where they're useful, tools or resources that support the recommendations.
You leave the call with my initial thinking. Within about a week, you have a strategy you can act on and come back to.
So thorough and clear.
"Our conversation and the resources you shared have felt so helpful! They make it much easier to focus on what I need to do, and I've already completed many of the tasks in the first three steps of the action plan.
I was honestly waiting to email you last week because I thought questions would arise, but so far, nothing! I think that's a real testament to how thorough and clear you are in your notes."

This session is a good fit if you run an established business and one of these is true:
You can see where the business needs to go, but the path from here to there isn't clear.
You have several credible options and can't tell which one to commit to first.
Something is constraining growth, and you haven't been able to pin down what it is.
The business is capable of more than it's producing, and you want to understand why.
It's also a sound starting point if you're considering a Private Strategy Intensive or ongoing advisory and want to see how I work on a real problem first.
This isn't the right fit if you're looking for someone to execute tasks, need help with a specific tool or platform, or are still working out what the business is.
It also isn't designed to produce a full strategic plan across the whole business. That's the work of the Strategy Intensive.
I’m Rachel Anzalone, founder of Ease & Acumen.
For more than 25 years I’ve worked across marketing, operations, and strategy alongside founders and independent professionals, often as the outside perspective they brought in when something wasn’t adding up.
What I’ve learned is that the problem a business owner brings in is rarely the one that needs solving first.
That’s where a session starts: working out what’s actually going on underneath, before deciding what to do about it.
A gift for distilling complexity into actionable steps.
"I came in with a lot of ideas but wasn't sure how to prioritize or structure them. In one focused conversation, Rachel helped me articulate clear short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals.
She has a real gift for distilling complexity into actionable steps. Her insights around marketing, digital offerings, and long-term brand vision were tailored specifically to where we are.”

1. You book and pay. The session is paid in full at booking.
2. You choose your time. You'll go straight to my calendar to pick a time for our call.
3. You complete the questionnaire. It asks about your business, the challenge, and what you've already tried. Please complete it at least three business days before we meet.
4. I prepare. I read everything and review your materials before the call, so our hour goes to substance rather than getting me up to speed.
5. We meet. A 60-minute working session over Zoom, part interview and part discussion. I'll share initial recommendations as we go.
6. You receive your strategy. Within about a week: the written strategy document, a recorded walkthrough, and any supporting tools.
$1,750 paid in full at booking. That includes:
The questionnaire and materials review
The 60-minute session
The written strategy document
The recorded walkthrough
And any supporting tools
If you go on to a Private Strategy Intensive or Private Strategic Advisory within 30 days, your session fee is credited toward it.
Sessions are held over Zoom. Your link arrives with your calendar confirmation.
You will get access to the questionnaire immediately after scheduling your session. You must complete and submit it a minimum of three business days before our call. If your questionnaire hasn't arrived three business days before our call, I'll reach out to reschedule, so I have the time I need to prepare.
Anything that helps me see the business clearly: offers, sales pages, relevant numbers, planning documents. You can link them in the questionnaire or send them by email.
That's common, and it's part of the work. The questionnaire asks what you think is behind the challenge. The session is where we test that.
The session works through one problem in one conversation and delivers a written strategy for it. The Intensive is a 30-day engagement that works across the business as a whole. Some clients start with a session and continue into the Intensive.
You can reschedule once, up to 48 hours before our call, using the link in your confirmation.
Each session involves preparation and custom work before and after we meet, so sessions are non-refundable once booked. Your session should be scheduled and held within 45 days of purchase, and you can reschedule once within that window, as noted above.
If an extenuating circumstance makes that impossible, let me know and we’ll work out what makes sense. And if you’ve had your session and feel it didn’t give you what you needed, please tell me so I may find a solution that works for both of us.
Email [email protected] with your question and I'll answer it personally.
If there’s a decision or challenge in your business you’ve been carrying on your own, this is a focused way to get a second, rigorous perspective on it, along with a written strategy you can act on and return to.
